Great to meet you!

Hello there! I am a licensed independent social worker with experience supporting adults and families navigating complex medical, mental health, and life transitions. I am especially passionate about working with adults and families who are motivated to create meaningful change in their lives and are seeking additional support, structure, and guidance along the way.

My work is grounded in a strengths-based, culturally responsive, and trauma-informed framework. I bring warmth, professionalism, and genuine presence to each session, and I value building trusting, collaborative relationships.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic approach is collaborative, client-centered, and mindfulness-informed. I believe that meaningful change happens when clients feel both supported and empowered. I work with adults who are ready to take active steps toward growth and are seeking a supportive, grounded therapist to walk alongside them in that process.

I integrate evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), strengths-based therapy, motivational interviewing, solution-focused techniques, and mindfulness-based practices. My clinical work is also informed by my personal completion of a 10-day silent meditation retreat, which deepened my understanding of awareness, emotional regulation, and present-moment focus. I aim to create a calm, safe, and non-judgmental space where insight, accountability, and sustainable change can occur.

What you can expect from me

The first session is focused on creating a comfortable, supportive space where you feel heard and respected. We will discuss what brings you to therapy, your goals, and what change you are hoping to create in your life. I will ask about your history, current stressors, strengths, and support systems so I can understand the full context of your experience.

Clients can expect a structured but compassionate session where we begin to identify patterns, clarify goals, and outline an initial treatment direction together. There is no pressure to share everything at once. We move at your pace. By the end of the session, we will discuss next steps and determine how we will work together moving forward.
