Embarking on the journey of becoming a psychiatrist is a pursuit of enhanced humanity. My focus extends beyond disorders and diagnoses to a genuine interest in understanding you as an individual. My academic journey includes medical degree from Kolkata Medical College & Hospital in India, followed by psychiatry residencies at the AIIMS, New Delhi and Mt Sinai Morningside/West, fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP).
In my clinical practice, my primary emphasis is on medication management. However, I consistently advocate for skill-building, encouraging the confrontation of fears and the pursuit of mastery over them. I guide individuals across all age groups, specializing in anxiety, stress management, depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, PTSD, and gender-related issues.
