Great to meet you!

I’m a licensed therapist with over 20 years of experience supporting individuals, couples, and families as they navigate life’s challenges. My work is rooted in a deep commitment to culturally responsive, trauma-informed care—especially for communities that have historically been overlooked or underserved. I believe therapy should feel safe, collaborative, and empowering, where you can show up fully as yourself without judgment.

I specialize in working with women’s issues, trauma, relationship and family concerns, work-related stress, and life transitions. I also have extensive experience supporting returning citizens, as well as individuals navigating substance use, depression, anxiety, and the emotional weight that often comes with these experiences.

You don’t have to figure it out alone.

My approach to therapy

My approach is practical, compassionate, and insight-oriented. I aim to help you better understand your experiences, build healthier coping strategies, and move toward meaningful, lasting change. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or simply seeking clarity, I’m here to support you in finding your way forward—at your pace.

What you can expect from me

The first session is a relaxed, no-pressure conversation where you can share as much or as little as you feel comfortable. We’ll focus on what’s been going on for you recently and what led you to seek support at this time.

I’ll ask a few questions to better understand your background, and we’ll begin identifying goals at a pace that feels comfortable for you. Most importantly, this is your space—you can expect to feel heard, supported, and leave with a clearer sense of next steps.
