Great to meet you!

I’m a bilingual (English/Portuguese) Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I am passionate about helping individuals, couples, and families navigate life’s challenges with clarity, compassion, and resilience. I earned my Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from Simpson University, and I have the honor of teaching future Therapists in their Master's Program.

I work with couples, adults, and adolescents experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship issues, identity exploration, and life transitions. Drawing from evidence-based practices like Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and mindfulness-based techniques, I support clients in developing insight, building emotional strength, and creating meaningful change. My professional training includes Brainspotting Phases I and II.

My approach to therapy

My approach is client-centered, warm, collaborative, and rooted in cultural sensitivity, recognizing that healing looks different for everyone. As a first-generation immigrant, I am especially committed to creating inclusive spaces where clients feel seen, heard, and empowered.

What you can expect from me

I am aware of how uncomfortable that first session can be, and am very intentional about creating a safe, nonjudgemental space where you can ease into a therapeutic space where you can safely heal.
