Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with seven years of experience helping individuals navigate life’s challenges and improve their emotional well-being. I received my education at Texas Woman’s University and specialize in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and focused on helping clients develop practical coping skills, process difficult experiences, and build resilience. I strive to provide a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to make meaningful changes.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy should be a safe space where you feel comfortable being yourself, sharing your experiences, and working through challenges without fear of judgment. My approach is warm, supportive, and collaborative, and I strive to meet each client where they are in their journey. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help you understand how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are connected, and Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT) to help you process difficult experiences at a pace that feels comfortable for you. My goal is to help you recognize your strengths, develop practical coping skills, and feel empowered to create meaningful changes in your life.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you can expect a warm, welcoming, and judgment-free space where we begin getting to know each other. We’ll talk about what brings you to therapy, the challenges you’re experiencing, and what you hope to gain from our time together. I’ll ask questions to better understand your background and experiences, while giving you the opportunity to share at your own pace without feeling pressured to discuss anything before you’re ready. We’ll also explore your goals for therapy and discuss how we can work together to help you develop coping skills, build on your strengths, and create meaningful change. My goal is for you to leave feeling heard, supported, and comfortable taking the next step in your journey.
