Great to meet you!
I began my career as a Nationally Certified Massage Therapist, a role I held for about 13 years. During this time, I developed a deep interest in the connection between the mind, body, and spirit, which led me to further my education. I earned a bachelor's degree in psychology from Ashford University and later completed a Master of Science in Professional Clinical Counseling at Grand Canyon University. My work experience includes non-profits and private practice, serving underprivileged communities. Currently, I hold the position of Chief Mental Health Clinician with County Behavioral Health and serve as Program Director for a conditional release program focused on competency restoration. Throughout my journey, it has been an honor to support individuals in their struggles, offering guidance, empowerment, and encouragement to help them rewrite their stories. Witnessing growth and transformation continues to inspire me.
With over nine years of experience, I specialize in assessing and treating various symptoms and mental illnesses. My expertise includes working with personality disorders, bipolar disorder, PTSD, psychosis, depression, grief and loss, self-esteem issues, anxiety, and other mental health concerns. I also have strong crisis management skills and additional training in handling suicide and self-injurious behaviors.
As a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (#7094), I provide psychotherapy for those seeking healing. My goal is to help individuals develop insight, awareness, knowledge, and practical tools to foster healing and transformation by opening their hearts. I believe that faith can be profoundly therapeutic and empowering, serving as the foundation of hope. Without hope, recovery is not possible.
