Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Licensed Addiction Counselor (LAC) in Colorado, practicing since 2022. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Health Promotion with a minor in Psychology from Colorado State University–Pueblo, and a Master of Social Work with a concentration in Mental Health and Trauma from the University of Denver.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic approach is grounded in creating a supportive and trusting environment where clients feel safe to explore their experiences and challenges. I believe that fostering trust and providing a secure space empowers individuals to face and overcome life’s most difficult obstacles.

Hope, resilience, and courage are core values that I strive to embody and instill in my clients. I have advanced training in trauma and addiction and am deeply committed to ongoing professional development to integrate the latest evidence-based practices and research into my work.

My goal is to collaborate with clients to identify the tools and strategies that best support their individual growth and healing. One of my greatest strengths is recognizing the circumstances that have most impacted my clients and guiding them toward understanding, acceptance, and transformation. In addition, I have specialized experience working with veterans, first responders, and high-risk populations.

What you can expect from me

Starting therapy can feel like a big step, and it's natural to have questions or feel uncertain about what to expect. My goal is to create a welcoming, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you can feel comfortable sharing your story at your own pace.

During our first session, we'll spend time getting to know one another. I'll ask questions about what brings you to therapy, your current concerns, your personal history, and what you hope to achieve through counseling. This is also an opportunity for you to ask questions about my approach, the therapy process, and anything else that will help you feel informed and comfortable.
