Great to meet you!

Life can bring challenges that feel overwhelming, confusing, or hard to face alone. Whether you are dealing with trauma, anxiety, major life changes, behavioral issues, or emotional struggles, therapy offers a safe space to feel truly heard, supported, and understood. My goal is to create a safe, caring, and non-judgmental environment where individuals can openly explore their experiences, develop effective coping skills, and foster lasting healing and growth. As a dedicated mental health clinician for the past three years and a human services leader for seventeen years, I bring nearly two decades of diverse experience across clinical, educational, and administrative roles. My background includes expertise in crisis intervention, program development, client-centered care, and organizational leadership. I am dual-licensed as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in Connecticut and a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Massachusetts, with a foundation rooted in trauma-informed and evidence-based methods. I earned a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a focus on Advanced Trauma-Informed Care and a Bachelor of Arts in Forensic Psychology. Throughout my career, I have successfully led multidisciplinary teams, advocated for diverse populations, and driven program excellence. I look forward to bringing this combination of clinical insight and strategic leadership to support your personal journey or organizational goals.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic approach is collaborative, trauma-informed, and customized to meet each individual's unique needs, goals, and life history. Using a strengths-based framework, I aim to create a supportive environment where clients can safely face challenges, develop practical coping strategies, and increase self-awareness. Besides individual therapy, I specialize in working with youth and families to navigate and resolve complex behavioral, educational, and interpersonal communication issues.

What you can expect from me

During our initial consultation, you can expect a welcoming, collaborative, and structured environment focused on building mutual trust and respectful boundaries. This intake session is intentionally designed as a gentle exploration of your personal history and current needs, helping us collaboratively create a thoughtful, personalized plan for your therapeutic journey.
