Great to meet you!
Welcome! My name is Psian (pronounced Sy-ann), and I am deeply passionate about holistic healing, sustainable growth, and partnering with the people I work with so they feel empowered, supported, and understood. I believe therapy is a collaborative journey, and I walk alongside you through whatever life experience or season you are currently navigating.
My love for people, social justice, and advocacy led me to earn both my Bachelor's degree and Master's degree in Clinical Social Work from Rutgers University in New Jersey. I specialize in trauma healing and have extensive experience working in the anti-human trafficking field, with the LGBTQIA+ community, the BIPOC community and with women and children, both domestically and internationally. My passion for this work also led me to serve in the Peace Corps in Thailand, where I spent more than two years in Chiang Mai Province supporting HIV/AIDS prevention efforts and providing health education alongside Thai and Indigenous communities.
Outside of the therapy space, I love salsa dancing, exploring delicious coffee shops, trying new recipes, traveling, and making pottery (I recently learned to throw on the wheel!). I am devoted to my weekly yoga practice and love meditation and sound baths.
I consider it a privilege to walk alongside people as they heal, grow, and reconnect with their strengths. My hope and intention are to create a space where you feel safe, valued, and empowered to move toward the life you want to build.
