
Qiana believes in helping others become their best selves and recognizing the strengths they already possess to change their situations. Qiana believes that each person is inherently doing the best they can in each moment, something she learned in her training of Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). This a framework that informs much of her practice. Qiana also readily uses Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) to help others find solutions.
Qiana Watson, LCSW's practice is grounded in the belief that each person is inherently doing their best in every moment. Qiana specializes in Black Superwoman Syndrome, intergenerational trauma, therapy specifically designed to address issues related to a client's cultural identity, including their race, ethnicity, gender, socioeconomic background, and other aspects of their cultural experience, and trauma.
Qiana is trained in DBT, CBT, Motivational interviewing, Restorative Justice & Mediation.
Qiana enjoys supporting individuals, families, and couples experiencing a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, intimacy issues, phase of life transitions, and neurodiversity.
