Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Quiana—a retired Army Veteran, military spouse, and proud mom of six (four amazing kids and two adorable fur babies). I like to think of myself as a mix between a mindful hippie and a curious nerd. My journey has taken me from serving 14 years as a Military Intelligence Specialist to traveling the world, and eventually finding my true calling in mental health and holistic wellness.

I earned my Bachelor of Science in Psychologyfrom the University of Maryland Global Campus and graduated Magna Cum Laude from Capella University with a Master of Science in Marriage and Family Counseling Therapy. I’m also a certified Adaptive Yoga Instructor and Level II Reiki Practitioner, which allows me to bring a deeply integrative and restorative approach to my sessions.

In my free time, you’ll usually find me reading, gaming, stargazing, or spending time with my family. I also have a growing crystal collection and an enduring love for all things Sci-Fi and fantasy.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic style blends Western and Eastern healing traditions to support the whole person—mind, body, and spirit. I use evidence-based modalities such as Brainspotting and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Brainspotting, Narrative Therapy and Somatic Therapy.

Together, we’ll work to create balance, build awareness, and help you move toward the life you truly want to live.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is all about connection and comfort. I want you to feel safe, seen, and heard from the moment we begin. We’ll take time to talk about what brought you to therapy, what’s been weighing on your mind or heart, and what you’d like to work toward. There’s no pressure to have it all figured out, his is simply a space to start where you are.

I’ll ask a few gentle questions to better understand your history, strengths, and current challenges, and together we’ll begin shaping a plan that feels realistic and empowering. My goal is for you to leave that first session with a sense of relief, clarity, and hope knowing that you don’t have to walk this journey alone.
