Great to meet you!

My name is Quin Rainey, and I’ve been working in the mental health field for over 15 years, supporting a wide variety of individuals on their journeys toward healing and growth. Through my work, I’ve had the privilege of walking alongside people from all walks of life as they navigate life’s challenges and rediscover their inner strength. My dream client in therapy is someone who is ready and open to change—an adult or couple who may feel stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected, but who holds a genuine desire to grow, heal, and build a more fulfilling life. They may be navigating relationship challenges, life transitions, or internal struggles like anxiety, self-doubt, or emotional pain. What makes them ideal is their willingness to explore, reflect, and take steps toward meaningful transformation. Whether individually or as a couple, they value the therapeutic space as a place of support, discovery, and empowerment, and they come with the courage to be honest, even when it’s hard. I’m passionate about walking alongside these clients as they reconnect with themselves and each other, and begin to create the lives they truly want.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is primarily Adlerian and solution-focused, emphasizing collaboration, empowerment, and practical change. I help clients explore how early life experiences, family dynamics, and learned patterns influence their current thoughts, emotions, and relationships, while guiding them toward insight and purposeful action. I use evidence-based interventions to support emotional regulation, effective communication, boundary setting, and healthy decision-making. Sessions are goal-oriented and strengths-based, with a focus on helping clients develop clarity, resilience, and skills they can apply outside of therapy to create meaningful and sustainable change.

What you can expect from me

In our first session together, clients can expect a warm, welcoming, and judgment-free space where they can begin to share their story at their own pace. We'll start by exploring what brought them to therapy and what they’re hoping to get out of our work together. I’ll ask some questions to better understand their background, current challenges, and goals, but the session is really about beginning to build a sense of trust and comfort. There’s no pressure to have all the answers—this is a time to begin getting to know each other and to start creating a foundation for meaningful and collaborative work. Clients often leave the first session feeling heard, supported, and with a clearer sense of what therapy with me will look like.
