Great to meet you!

I specialize in helping clients overcome stress, depression and anxiety. In addition to teaching effective communication, problem solving and connection building skills for healthy, long lasting relationships.

My approach to therapy

I use focus on helping individuals overcome negative thoughts and better cope with feelings in the moment. To eliminate reacting impulsively or undesirably out of emotions. Using methods from mindfulness-based dbt. With couples I use gottman communication techniques and imago to help clients understand and validate emotions while finding compromise.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect to feel heard, understood and challenged to explore alternate explanations and stories that alleviate the experience of intense emotion when it's avoidable. In addition to tools on how to manage intense emotion when experiencing them is unavoidable.
