Great to meet you!

I have experience where I worked for a non-profit that specifically worked with pregnant moms and infants. I also worked in an acute psychiatric hospital for three years before starting my own private practice doing therapy for teenagers, young adults, adults, and couples. I work with both men and women. I specialize in working with moms who might need extra support during pregnancy, postpartum, and navigating motherhood. I also specialize in Christian counseling, premarital counseling, and couples counseling.

My approach to therapy

As a licensed clinical social worker, I believe in walking alongside people. I believe we are our own experts in our lives, but sometimes we need additional support and guidance along the way. Along with providing validation and support, I will challenge you in areas that might need improvement. Most importantly, I like to emphasize that you are in the driver's seat for how you want therapy to go and I can adjust per each individuals' own needs.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is your opportunity to share your story with me and what you are hoping to achieve in therapy. I strive to create a comfortable environment, where I like to use humor when appropriate to build our therapeutic relationship. I also believe there is so much power and healing through laughter. Sessions that follow will focus on assisting you through your goals, which oftentimes shift overtime.
