Great to meet you!

I am a graduate of the University of Southern California with a Masters in Clinical Social Work, and received my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of California, Los Angeles. I am also a certified 200 HR yoga instructor and Reiki practitioner. I bring a deeply integrative approach to healing, blending somatic therapies, mindfulness, and energy work with evidence-based interventions. I am also currently completing my PhD in Integral and Transpersonal Psychology at the California Institute of Integral Studies.

With a foundation in yoga, nervous system regulation, and spiritual practice, my work is rooted in guiding you to return to your own embodied truth through reinforcing resilience and post-traumatic growth. I primarily work with survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and those navigating PTSD and other trauma related diagnoses.

My approach to therapy

Therapy is a reciprocal space in which you as the client provide the bravery of vulnerability, which I seek to meet with authentic and consistent safe space. Creating a safe space is no simple task, as it is my priority to allow your nervous system to experience the baseline of regulation within the session, so you can carry that with you in your daily life. Establishing this baseline is essential for you to experience the gift of resilience through post-traumatic growth.

What you can expect from me

During the first session, we will complete a mental health assessment, which involves a lot of personal questions. Knowing this, prior to even beginning the process, we will work through some somatic practices of grounding together, discuss logistics of therapy and informed consent, and I will guide you through the most gentle but direct approach so that we can immediately get started on your healing journey together.
