Great to meet you!

I am Ra'eesa Sadat, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Certified School Social Work Specialist (C-SSWS) with experience supporting children, adolescents, and adults across school, healthcare, and private practice settings.

I work with preteens, teens, and women navigating anxiety, stress, depression, relationship challenges, attachment concerns, and life transitions. I also support women navigating shifts in identity, including motherhood and the postpartum journey.

Many of my clients are navigating seasons of change and are learning how to prioritize themselves while balancing the many roles and responsibilities they carry.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is warm, reflective, and collaborative. I believe therapy should feel like a space where you can slow down, exhale, and make sense of the things that have been weighing on you.

Together, we'll explore patterns that may no longer serve you, build healthier ways of coping, and create meaningful change that feels realistic and sustainable. I strive to create a space where you feel heard, supported, and empowered to better understand yourself and your experiences from a different perspective.

Therapy offers an opportunity to pause, reflect, and reconnect with yourself.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, we'll spend time getting to know one another, building connection, and creating a strong foundation for our work together. Establishing trust is extremely important to me, so we'll also explore what helps you build trust and connection with others, including your therapist.

I strive to create a space for laughter, tears, smiles, and hope for growth and healing. Throughout the session, we'll complete the intake process while identifying your top three goals for therapy. Following our first session, I will create an individualized treatment plan based on the information you share, which we will review together at the beginning of our second session.

There is no pressure to have everything figured out before starting therapy; we'll work together to determine what feels most important to you right now.
