Great to meet you!

I am a native of Youngstown, OH and currently reside in Columbus, OH. I hold a master’s degree in clinical Mental Health Counseling and a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from Youngstown State University.

I am an EMDR Therapist trained through an EMDRIA-Approved Program and is licensed in the state of Ohio as a Licensed Professional Counselor under the Counselor, Social Worker, and Marriage and Family Therapist Board. I have over 16 years of direct care experience working with adults, adolescents, small children, family units and couples.

Prior to my role as an EAP counselor I served as Associate Director for a local charter school, Counselor Supervisor in residential treatment for adjudicated youth, Program Manager for maternal-child health fatherhood initiatives, and provided individual and intensive family therapy for several years.

In my work I emphasize the importance of being trauma-informed and understanding multi-cultural competence in clinical service.

My approach to therapy

My mission is to empower individuals to navigate life’s complexities by providing compassionate, evidence-based counseling and tailored recovery solutions. I am dedicated to fostering a safe, non-judgmental environment where clients can explore their thoughts, emotions, and personal challenges to achieve lasting healing.

I focus on holistic mental health and wellness, offering guidance to those managing life’s challenges, including stress, emotional hurdles, and behavioral health needs. My approach is centered on personal growth, helping clients build resilience, develop healthy coping mechanisms, and reclaim control over their lives.

Through individualized counseling—available via telehealth—I am committed to meeting clients where they are, treating the whole person, and facilitating a journey toward a more authentic, empowered, and successful future.

What you can expect from me

In our counseling sessions, you can expect a partnership rooted in compassion, respect, and empowerment. My goal is to provide a safe, non-judgmental space where you feel heard and supported as you navigate life’s complexities.

  • A Holistic Approach: I'm focused on your overall well-being—not just your symptoms—focusing on mental health, wellness, and personal growth.
  • Evidence-Based, Tailored Care: You will receive counseling and recovery solutions that are grounded in proven methods but customized specifically to your unique challenges and goals.
  • Building Resilience: My work focuses on helping you develop healthy coping mechanisms and reclaiming control over your life, fostering lasting healing rather than just short-term fixes.
  • Telehealth Accessibility: You can expect professional, individualized support that meets you where you are, delivered through a convenient and secure telehealth platform.
  • A Journey Toward Authenticity: Ultimately, you can expect a dedicated guide to help you build a future where you feel more empowered, resilient, and true to yourself.

If you decide to schedule a consultation some flexibility may be required as I work from several different calendars and at times they are not always in sync in real time. I appreciate your consideration and just know that I am very responsive so if any adjustments need to be made you will be notified in record time!
