Great to meet you!

I am a queer non-binary transmasc therapist whose goal is that, with me, you can feel safe and honored. Feeling comfortable sharing may not feel easy or immediate, so I aim to stay present, mindful and non-judgmental, inviting you be at ease to bring your full self to our sessions. My therapeutic style is relational, allowing freedom of expression to occur in our dynamic. I value the way the mind and body are intricately connected and inform our thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. I am guided by therapeutic modalities such as DBT, somatic experiencing, internal family systems and polyvagal theories, as well as psychedelic integration. I am trauma focused and aware of the way trauma can become stuck in our nervous systems responses. I want to help support you in creating satisfying change, so that you feel connected and engaged in your life. I have 20 yrs experience in the field of mental health and 10 yrs experience as a clinician. I have significant experience working with queer/LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC communities, people who are HIV+, survivors of religious trauma, sex workers, mental health crises, developmental trauma and people diagnosed with personality disorders.I will do my best to honor your specific life experience and the strength you have as your life's narrator.

My approach to therapy

In our work together, expect a warm, empathetic, and non-judgmental space where you can freely explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences. I believe in the power of the therapeutic relationship as a catalyst for healing, and I strive to create a collaborative partnership with you.
