Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor and Certified Alcohol & Drug Counselor with over 23 years of experience helping teens, young adults, and adults navigate anxiety, stress, life transitions, and substance use. Many of my clients come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, stuck in their thoughts, caught in unhealthy patterns, or worn down by family turmoil, trauma, or major changes in life. Some are working to stay sober, break painful cycles, or find more peace in their daily life. Others are trying to cope with health struggles or the stress of loving someone who is struggling with addiction.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy should feel like a place where you can be yourself, talk openly, and know that you won’t be judged. I take the time to get to know you, understand what you’re going through, and explore the experiences and patterns that may be affecting how you cope.

Together, we work to better understand the patterns, stressors, and experiences that may be keeping you stuck while building healthier coping skills and more effective ways to move forward. My goal is to help clients create meaningful change, strengthen resilience, and feel more grounded, clear, and supported in everyday life.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is a chance for us to get to know each other and begin understanding what brings you to therapy. We’ll talk about what you’ve been experiencing, what you would like to be different, and what you hope to get out of therapy. I’ll answer any questions you have and make sure you feel comfortable with the process. You don’t need to have everything figured out before our first session, we’ll take it one step at a time and work together to identify where to begin.
