Great to meet you!

Hi! I'm Rachael and I am a licensed professional counselor with an MA in Counseling and Human Services .

I best serve clients looking to explore who they are, how they relate to the world, and how their emotional experience relates to those things. Anxiety, depression, and discomfort are all part of our lives and absolutely essential. I work well with clients who are open to a mix of a bit of processing, skills work, and creative integrative work. You are more than one aspect of your experience.

My approach to therapy

I utilize experiential techniques through a cognitive-behavioral lens to approach life’s stressors in a way that will allow individuals to build on their strengths and reach their goals. I cater these strategies for one's unique needs, including making their delivery teen friendly. I'm also passionate about using strategies from Acceptance and Comittment Therapy as well as Dialectical Behavior Therapy.

What you can expect from me

I know that making the decision to start counseling can be a difficult one, so creating a safe space where people can say what needs to be said and be comfortable with themselves and have room to grow is of utmost importance.
