Great to meet you!

With nearly 20 years of experience across diverse treatment settings, including military communities, child welfare, community mental health, and forensic inpatient care, I bring a depth of perspective to my work. These experiences have shaped my ability to connect with people authentically and meet you exactly where you are in your life. Whether you’re navigating stress, trauma, major transitions, or long-standing challenges, I approach our work together with curiosity, respect, and a belief in your capacity for growth.

My approach to therapy

I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, also known as EMDR therapy, an evidence-based approach that helps the brain process and heal from traumatic experiences. I often use EMDR when working with clients who have experienced trauma, as it can reduce the emotional intensity of painful memories and support lasting relief.

That said, I don’t believe therapy is one-size-fits-all. This is your unique journey. Together, we will explore what feels most supportive and effective for you, adjusting our approach as needed so the work truly fits your goals, strengths, and comfort level.

What you can expect from me

Our first session will be a thoughtful, in-depth assessment so I can better understand your history, current challenges, and the goals you hope to move toward. This gives us a strong foundation and helps ensure our work together is aligned with what matters most to you.

I know that opening up can feel vulnerable and even intimidating. Taking that first step takes courage. I deeply respect the trust it takes to share your story, and I aim to create a space where you feel safe, heard, and supported from the very beginning. I look forward to walking alongside you in your healing process.
