Prior to becoming a therapist, Rachael received her Bachelor's in Math Education with a Minor in Art. She spent a couple years teaching high school math in a charter high school where she found that what was happening outside of school for her students weighed more than what was happening in school. She is licensed as an LPCC by the Board of Behavioral Health and Therapy in Minnesota. She has experience working with children, adolescents, families, and adults.

A bit about my approach to therapy

Rachael has a passion for supporting clients utilizing a relationship and strength-based approach on a foundation of CBT. Rachael has also been trained in various trauma informed practices including EMDR and TF-CBT. She values supporting people by helping them make meaning of their situation, joining with clients in identifying and aligning with their core values and principles, and offering space where all people can feel affirmed and understood. Rachael is known for being able to establish a safe, secure, and professional relationship with her clients while incorporating humor and reflection in her practice.
