Great to meet you!

Welcome, and thank you for considering me as your therapist. Reaching out for help isn’t easy-I want to acknowledge the courage it takes to take this first step in your mental health journey.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Connecticut, offering telehealth and in office sessions. Over the past three years, I have provided psychotherapy to individuals across different ages and backgrounds. My work in the human services and counseling field began in 2009, giving me a broad foundation to support people through life’s challenges.

Together, we’ll create a safe, supportive space where you can explore your experiences, build coping skills, and move toward growth and healing at your own pace.

My approach to therapy

My approach is person-centered, rooted in the belief that every individual has their own unique story—whether short or long. Life can present many challenges and unexpected bumps along the way, and therapy can provide a safe place to navigate them. I strive to create a warm, open, and transparent relationship with my clients, where they feel truly heard and supported. While honoring each person’s individuality, I also incorporate solution-focused strategies to help clients build on their strengths and work toward meaningful change.

What you can expect from me

During this first session, we will review your background, discuss current concerns, and explore what you hope to gain from therapy. This helps create a plan that supports your goals moving forward. I view the client–therapist relationship as a vital part of the healing journey, and my goal is to ensure that clients feel both empowered and supported every step of the way.
