Great to meet you!

Rachael is a Licensed Independent Social Worker in Ohio who works with adolescents ages 15+ and adults. She has experience supporting clients with anxiety, depression, life transitions, emotional regulation, self-esteem, body image, postpartum adjustment, disordered eating, and ADHD.

Rachael earned her Master of Social Work from the University of Denver with a specialization in clinical mental health and a certificate in Animal-Assisted Therapy. She also has training in SPACE, Collaborative Problem Solving, and ADHD-focused clinical care.

My approach to therapy

Rachael’s approach is warm, collaborative, and practical. She helps clients better understand their emotions, identify patterns that may be keeping them stuck, and build skills that feel realistic and useful in everyday life.

She incorporates evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, and mindfulness, tailoring treatment to each client’s individual needs and goals.

What you can expect from me

The first session is focused on getting to know you, understanding what brings you to therapy, and identifying what you would like to change or improve. Rachael will ask about your current concerns, background, strengths, and goals while giving you space to share at a pace that feels comfortable.

Together, you will begin developing a treatment plan and identifying practical next steps, while making sure therapy feels collaborative and like a good fit.
