Great to meet you!

I treat anxiety, depression, trauma/PTSD, and reactions to adverse life events. I use trauma informed, solid clinical skills with a holistic approach. I have 15+ years of experience in a variety of settings (private practice, community health center, school, hospital) with all ages and issues. Everyone is welcome- affirming and non judgemental care.

A bit about my approach to therapy

Your treatment will be customized to your needs, ensuring you feel comfortable and your sessions provide relief. Establishing trust is of utmost importance, and I work to meet you at your comfort level first and foremost. I have the knowledge and experience to guide you towards improved life satisfaction, mental health, and relationships. Let's envision and build the best version of you, while addressing symptoms and healing. We can get to the root causes and make a lasting difference.

What you can expect from our first session

We will begin by identifying issues and setting a goal that resonates with you. We work on processing issues and emotions, as well as discussing specific steps for coping or change. Some clients come to sessions with topics to discuss. Others need help exploring the relevant issues. I am skilled at matching your level of need, while encouraging/teaching you to be your own advocate in the process.
