Great to meet you!

I believe that meaningful therapy begins with a strong therapeutic relationship built on trust, authenticity, and collaboration. I earned my Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D.) from the University of Colorado Denver and have experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families across a variety of clinical, educational, and community settings. Throughout my career, I have helped individuals navigate anxiety, depression, life transitions, emotional regulation, executive functioning challenges, relationship concerns, and stress. I strive to create a warm, nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered to explore both their strengths and the challenges that brought them to therapy. My goal is to help you gain a deeper understanding of yourself while building practical skills that support lasting growth beyond our time together.

My approach to therapy

I view therapy as a collaborative process where we work together to better understand your experiences, identify patterns that may no longer be serving you, and develop realistic strategies for creating meaningful change. My approach is evidence-based and tailored to each individual's unique goals, drawing primarily from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and behavioral principles. I value balancing insight with action, helping clients not only understand why they feel the way they do but also develop practical tools they can use in everyday life. Throughout treatment, I emphasize curiosity, self-compassion, and progress over perfection, recognizing that growth often happens one step at a time.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin building a foundation for our work together. We'll spend time discussing what brought you to therapy, the challenges you're currently facing, your personal strengths, and what you hope to gain from the therapeutic process. I'll ask questions to better understand your experiences while also giving you plenty of space to share what feels most important to you at your own pace. By the end of our first meeting, my hope is that you'll leave feeling heard, understood, and with a clearer sense of our goals and how we'll work together moving forward.
