Great to meet you!

Attachment trauma focused therapist, seeking clients who are ready to step into their past in order to better connect with themselves in the here and now.

Hey all, my professional experience shows that I am a licensed marriage and family therapist in the state of California. I currently work with individual adults. In addition to the use of typical evidence based treatments, I specialize in ADHD coaching and therapy. I have experience working with adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities and autism spectrum disorder. these are the things that make me a therapist.

My personal experience includes starting late in life, changing my mind, failing, overcoming challenges, taking on new adventures, making mistakes, learning the hard way and accepting strengths and weaknesses. I also have experience in being open minded, challenging thinking errors, doom scrolling and taking social media breaks, being totally wrong and admitting it, celebrating wins, finding and keeping friends, losing some too. These are the things that make me a good therapist.

My approach to therapy

My approach is individualized to client needs. I like to get to know details about you and your life in order to help you find solutions, supports and changes that will improve your wellbeing. Some of my favorite and most effective interventions, skills and techniques come from from person centered ACT, CBT, DBT, and Trauma Recovery Treatment.

What you can expect from me

I am pretty nosey and I will have a million questions. I want to really get to know who you are. We spend the first session discussing your life, family, interests, values and experiences. I want to see what already works for you and what doesn't. We will also collaborate to create goals for treatment.
