Great to meet you!
As a therapist, I believe my role is to provide person-centered support, guidance, and understanding to individuals, couples, and families of all ages. Beginning therapy can feel difficult, but you do not have to navigate life’s challenges alone. Together, we can explore what you are experiencing, identify what is getting in the way, and develop practical skills to help you cope, heal, and grow.
I have extensive experience working with a wide range of mental health concerns and life challenges, to include: Depression, Anxiety, Bi-Polar Disorder. Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD/ADHD),Grief/Loss, Family/Couples dynamics, Work/Academic Stress, Parenting, Gender/Sexuality (LGBTQIA Ally), Life Transitions, Mood/Personality Disorders, Substance Use/Addictions. I also work with clients seeking personal growth, improved self-esteem, healthier relationships, and greater day-to-day functioning.
I understand how challenging these concerns can be. My goal is to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you feel heard, respected, and empowered in your therapeutic journey. Together, we CAN create, discover, and put to practice concrete skills that enable you to cope, grow, and make positive, sustainable change. Therapy can be challenging, but you do not have to face those challenges alone—Everyone can benefit from working with a therapist and while sometimes it may feel difficult therapy can be and IS worth the effort.
