Great to meet you!

Do you feel like something is wrong with you? Do you wish it would all just stop and go away? Is your child acting out and you don't know why or what to do? If you have had any of these thoughts, then you're in the right place! My practice is based around what happened to us, not what is wrong with us. I am here to support & guide you in processing thoughts and feelings, reflect on experiences, learn new coping skills, and figure out next steps. I will listen, teach, brainstorm, guide and help you build tools to meet your goals.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, client-centered, and grounded in a trauma-informed perspective. I strive to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel comfortable exploring their experiences and building insight. I tailor my work to each individual’s unique needs, drawing from evidence-based practices such as DBT, ACT, and TF-CBT to support emotional regulation, coping skills, and long-term growth. I have a strong focus on working with children, adolescents, young adults, and families, and I incorporate a strengths-based and culturally responsive approach in all of my work. I specialize in supporting clients navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, grief, and life transitions, and I often integrate family systems and skill-building strategies to help clients gain insight and support change.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect their first session with me to feel welcoming, supportive, and nonjudgmental. I focus on creating a safe space where you can share at your own pace and begin to feel comfortable building a therapeutic relationship. During this session, I will gather information about your background, current concerns, and what has brought you to therapy, while also taking time to understand your strengths and goals. Together, we will begin identifying what you hope to gain from therapy—whether that’s improving coping skills, processing difficult experiences, strengthening relationships, or enhancing overall well-being. I aim to create a collaborative environment where you feel heard, respected, and empowered, and where we can start building a clear and meaningful path toward your personal goals.
