Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). I received a Master of Social Work at Simmons University, Boston, MA. I work with individuals 12-65 years of age. My services include: anxiety, depression, eating disorders, OCD, Family issues, and stress management.

My approach to therapy

As a social worker, my therapeutic approach involves unconditional positive regard for you and your personal experiences and a strengths based approach. You and I will work together to explore what your goals are and how to make them attainable. I utilize talk therapy and some art based therapy to help build rapport and create a greater understanding of your experience. I also use emotion focused family therapy (EFFT), CBT, ACT, and DBT interventions to help you reach your goals.

What you can expect from me

Each session you can expect to discuss topics that are specific to your goals, while also providing space for other life moments that may be the most pressing issue at the moment. As the session nears, there will be a review of what was worked on and discussed and an intention set to work on before the next session. If worksheets work completed or reviewed, you can expect those to be emailed to you for continued review.
