Great to meet you!

I have been a practicing therapist for twelve years after completing my undergraduate degree at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and then completing my Masters in Clinical Psychology at Pepperdine University. I have lived in many different places throughout my life, which I also believe helps me relate and understand many different types of people as well as different life challenges.

My approach to therapy

I believe a healthy therapeutic experience can foster a genuine, honest and authentic relationship that can help us become aware of ourselves in the world, heal from our past, cope with our present, and foster a healthy future. My process is focused on helping you heal and learn more constructive ways to deal with stress and life challenges. I have an eclectic approach with each individual client based on his or her needs, my strongest therapeutic orientation is psychodynamics.

What you can expect from me

I approach therapy with a team dynamic. We will work together to calm your mind, body and nervous system so together we can improve your overall mental health. With a warm and unconditional regard for your individual state of being, I will help you tap into your strengths and grow in a direction for a happier, calmer and more confident life style. You will feel comfortable to make decisions for yourself that are solution focused.
