Great to meet you!

If your child is struggling with attention, big emotions, anxiety, or behavior, you don't have to figure it out alone. I specialize in working with children ages 4 to 12

who are dealing with ADHD, anxiety, emotional regulation, behavioral challenges, and neurodivergence, along with the frustration, worry, and sadness that often come with them. [I also partner closely with parents, because you know your child best and you deserve support and tools too.] My goal is to help your child feel understood and confident, and to help your whole family feel a little calmer at home and at school.

My approach to therapy

Kids do their best work when therapy feels safe, engaging, and built around who they are. I use practical, proven approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, strength-based therapy, and behavior modification, adapted so they make sense for young children [often through play]. Together we'll build skills your child can actually use, like calming their body when feelings get big, focusing and following through, handling frustration, and saying what they need. I focus on your child's strengths, not just their struggles, and I'll give you strategies to keep the progress going at home.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is a chance for me to get to know your family. [I'll usually start by meeting with you as the parent] to hear what's been happening at home and at school, what you've already tried, and what you're hoping will change. Then I'll spend time getting to know your child in a relaxed, low-pressure way. Nobody needs to have the right words or have it all figured out. By the end, we'll have a clear picture of where to start and a plan for next steps.
