Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and obtained my master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Barry University. With over six years of experience, I have had the opportunity to support individuals and families through a wide range of life experiences and challenges.

Throughout my career, I’ve supported individuals and families across different stages of life. My experience ranges from working with young children to helping clients navigate end-of-life concerns. I help clients manage anxiety, depression, grief, and major life changes with compassion and understanding. I specialize in trauma-informed care, including the impact of intergenerational experiences on emotional well-being, relationships, and daily life.

I’m also passionate about creating a welcoming, culturally responsive space for individuals whose cultures may have been shaped by outdated or stigmatizing views of mental health. My goal is for you to feel comfortable, respected, and supported throughout the therapeutic process.

My approach to therapy

I take an integrative, client-centered, and collaborative approach to therapy. I believe each person’s experiences are unique, so I tailor our work together to your individual needs, goals, and preferences.

I want therapy to feel like a space where you don’t have to perform, explain away your feelings, or have everything figured out. I’ll meet you with honesty, curiosity, and compassion while also helping you look more closely at the patterns that may be keeping you stuck. Together, we’ll process past experiences, build insight, and develop practical skills to help you navigate life more effectively.

There will be room for difficult conversations, vulnerability, laughter, and moments of growth. I’ll walk alongside you throughout the process while encouraging you to take an active role in the work, both during and between sessions.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect a structured but comfortable first session. We’ll talk about what brings you to therapy, your experiences, strengths, and what you hope to gain from our work together.

Feeling nervous or unsure is completely normal, so you won’t be expected to share everything right away. We’ll take the time to get to know each other, and you’ll have space to ask questions and move at a pace that feels right for you. Together, we’ll begin identifying what you need and how I can best support you.
