Great to meet you!

I’m a therapist who works with adults and teens navigating anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, emotional overwhelm, trauma-related challenges, addiction, and life transitions. Many of the people I work with feel stuck in painful patterns, struggle with intense emotions or self-criticism, or find themselves repeating relationship dynamics they want to better understand and change.

My approach to therapy

My style is warm, direct, and collaborative. I believe therapy works best when clients feel genuinely comfortable, understood, and accepted without judgment. At the same time, I think therapy should be practical and meaningful — both a place to talk and a space to develop insight, build healthier coping skills, and create lasting change in everyday life. My work is grounded in DBT, with particular experience supporting clients with personality-related patterns, addiction, trauma, anxiety and relational wounds. Together, we focus on regulating intense emotions without shutting down, shifting rigid perceptions, increasing self-trust and internal stability and reducing self-defeating behaviors. My goal is to create a supportive environment where clients can be honest about what they’re struggling with while also feeling hopeful about growth and change. I value authenticity in the therapy relationship and try to bring a grounded, human approach to the work we do together.

What you can expect from me

My approach during the first session is conversational, supportive, and nonjudgmental. You do not need to have everything figured out or know exactly how to explain what you’re feeling. We’ll move at a pace that feels manageable and comfortable for you. By the end of the session, we’ll begin identifying goals for therapy and discussing what kinds of approaches or tools may be most helpful moving forward. Most importantly, I want clients to leave feeling heard, understood, and hopeful that meaningful change is possible.
