Great to meet you!

I am a licensed clinical social worker with over a decade of clinical experience working with individuals who are navigating anxiety, depression, grief, past abuse, and relational challenges. My approach is holistic, trauma-informed, and deeply rooted in depth psychology—integrating dreamwork, symbols, images, associations and feeling tones as pathways to the unconscious and wholeness.

From an early age, I was drawn to the nuances of human emotion, behavior, and the pursuit of justice. Social work provided a framework for introspection, cultural humility, and a multidimensional understanding of well-being. My clinical practice is further informed by psychoanalytic principles, a decade of personal psychoanalytic work, and a commitment to body-centered and spiritual practices, including yoga.

I specialize in helping clients connect with their deepest selves, relieve symptoms, and foster a continued sense of integration and meaning.

My approach to therapy

I value the inherent worth and goodness of all beings and am here to create a safe and accepting environment in which you feel supported on your psychological, emotional, and interpersonal paths. I will compassionately challenge you to strive for your desired goals, utilizing mind-body practices, symbols, and cognitive tools. Choosing to care for yourself in the form of therapy is taking a brave step toward accessing support and resources for continued growth and wellness while navigating the complexity of life, past and present. Rather than depending on the therapist to find change, this process is instead a motivated leap toward breaking unhelpful patterns, enhancing self-awareness, and applying new skills to daily life for real and lasting change. My belief is that everyone inherently carries the capacity to heal, which can be enhanced in the context of therapy. An initial intake will take place upon meeting to assess and best understand your unique areas for growth, goals, and therapeutic components that are of interest to you.

What you can expect from me

In our first session there will be an opportunity to ask any questions you might have about the consent forms and assessments you completed beforehand. We will focus on building a connection and begin the intake process in which we will discuss primary concerns and personal history. By the second session we will collaborate to establish treatment goals for our therapeutic work together.
