Great to meet you!

I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) in the state of Georgia with availability to see clients for virtual sessions or for in-person visits in my office in Downtown Marietta, Georgia. I earned both my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Master’s degree in Social Work from Kennesaw State University. Having been in the mental health field for over 10 years now, I began my clinical work in the hospital setting (intensive outpatient and partial hospitalization programs throughout Atlanta) and have been in private practice seeing individuals since 2017.

In my spare time, I enjoy doing creative projects with my husband and two young daughters. I also love reading, listening to podcasts, practicing yoga, and spending time outdoors whenever I can.

I feel grateful every day to walk alongside clients as they navigate their own journeys of healing and growth.

My approach to therapy

As a therapist in private practice, I feel truly honored to work with individuals who are seeking to enhance their emotional well-being and cultivate a deeper sense of inner peace. I believe that as human beings, we each hold the answers we need within ourselves. Sometimes, we just need a little help accessing our own truth and finding our path forward - and talk therapy with a trained clinician can be an excellent tool for this. Through talking, we gain clarity, deepen our understanding of our experiences, and create space for healing and recovery.

I draw from cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness practices, and somatic interventions in my work with clients. I have a strong background in supporting individuals facing anxiety, depression, obsessive-compulsive patterns, addiction and recovery, and mood disorders. I also work with clients navigating life transitions, burnout, relationship challenges, and the stress that can come with parenting or caregiving roles. I approach each person’s experience holistically, recognizing that challenges, whether clinical or situational, require a personalized, compassionate approach that honors the complexity and uniqueness of every client I work with.

What you can expect from me

In your first session, we will get to know each other and review your reasons for seeking support, your goals for therapy, and general background information. My assessments (as with my typical sessions) tend to be less formal and more conversational and organic in style.
