Great to meet you!

My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and direct, with a strong emphasis on self-understanding. I use a humanistic approach to help cultivate greater self-compassion while also exploring the patterns and behaviors that contribute to your current distress. My hope is that we can focus on developing greater emotional insight to help you live with more intention and meaning within your current circumstances.

My approach to therapy

I frequently work with individuals struggling with anxiety, perfectionism, self-esteem issues, and body image concerns, as well as those noticing patterns of avoidance that feel hard to shift. My practice is heavily influenced by CBT, and I have extensive training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). Together, we can identify practical coping skills to implement during moments of distress with the goal of managing discomfort and preventing emotional crises.

I often support young adults in navigating academic/career stress, relationships, and the pressure of balancing achievement with a meaningful social life. Many clients come to me seeking support around relational challenges, including conflicts in romantic relationships, friendships, and family dynamics. I offer both short-term, solution-focused therapy and longer-term, insight-oriented work depending on each client’s unique needs and goals.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, I focus on getting to know you—your history, what’s been feeling difficult lately, and what led you to seek out therapy. We’ll explore your goals and what you’re hoping to change or better understand about yourself. I aim to create a grounded, supportive space where you can speak openly at your own pace. By the end of the session, you’ll have a clearer sense of what our work together can look like moving forward.
