Great to meet you!

My name is Rachel Butler and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the State of Texas. I am a queer, nonbinary person living in Texas and my pronouns are they/them/theirs. I primarily work with adolescents, young adults and LGBTQIA+ individuals in the areas of trauma, anxiety, boundary setting, crisis, and relationship issues.

My approach to therapy

I am kind, honest and approach my clients as a whole person. You are not only what has happened to you, you are also your joy, hope and resilience. We will work together as a team but you are in charge and you set the pace of our sessions together.

What you can expect from me

My clients typically tell me they feel a sense of relief after our sessions. I create a space where my clients feel comfortable with me and often they say talking to me is like talking to a friend. I enjoy getting to know my clients past, present and future goals. I believe building trust takes time and I feel honored for you to take this time with me.
