Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Rachel Carpenter, a licensed professional counselor. I specialize in helping teens and adults navigate anxiety, trauma, chronic illness, grief, and life transitions- especially around death and dying. I also provide affirming support to LGBTQ+ clients and those living with invisible or misunderstood conditions.

My approach to therapy

My approach is person-centered, trauma-informed, and integrative. I often incorporate cognitive behavioral strategies while tailoring therapy to your unique story and needs. I believe healing happens when you feel truly seen and heard- not judged or ‘fixed.’

What you can expect from me

In our work together, you can expect a safe and compassionate space to explore what’s weighing you down, reconnect with your inner strength, and move toward the life you want to live. Whether you’re facing a major loss, problems with your job, managing chronic pain, or trying to quiet the anxiety that keeps you up at night- you don’t have to do it alone.
