Great to meet you!

As an experienced psychotherapist, I believe that prioritizing self-care is key to mental health stability and happiness in life. Finding a therapist to help guide you through this process can be challenging, so congratulations on taking the first step!

I've been working in the professional mental health field for over 20 years. I specialize in issues related to acute and chronic medical health, pain and their influence on our mental health. I have extensive experience and training on these issues in adults (18+), women, and older adults (60+) struggling with depression and anxiety.

My approach to therapy

Each one of us is unique. With this in mind, I like to meet each individual where they are. Together we will work on an individualized plan for your care. Together we will partner and foster a safe and non-judgmental space for you to open and share your experiences and feelings. I'll be there to listen to you, challenge you, educate and support you.

What you can expect from me

I always start with an intake and evaluation session. Think of this as an introductory meeting where you'll talk about what brought you to therapy and what you hope to accomplish. We'll work together to figure this all out. I strive to create a warm, friendly and welcoming environment that allows you to feel comfortable sharing and being vulnerable while also feeling secure. We will work together in the sessions that follow to make these goals a reality for you.
