Great to meet you!
I believe that real healing happens in the context of genuine human connection—and that includes the therapeutic relationship. As a therapist, I bring not only my professional training but also my lived experience, values, and deep respect for each person’s unique story. Clients often describe me as warm, grounded, and deeply attuned.
With over 21 years of experience in the counseling field, I earned my Master’s degree in Education from Texas Christian University, where I focused on Counseling. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with specialized training in grief and trauma-informed care, solution-focused therapy, and play therapy. I have particular experience working with adolescents and young adults navigating concerns such as grief, self-esteem, divorced/separated parents, LGBTQ+ individuals, self-harm and suicidal ideations among other issues.
In my practice today, I work with adolescents and adults navigating a range of challenges, including anxiety and stress, relationship issues, identity development, grief and loss, and life transitions. My approach is person-centered, integrative, and always grounded in compassion and collaboration.
Outside of the therapy room, I’m someone who values mindfulness, creativity, and community. I find joy in hiking, yoga, art, and spending time with family and my dog Mabel.
