Great to meet you!

As a licensed clinical social worker, I bring both professional experience and a grounded, compassionate approach to the therapy room. I earned my Master’s in Social Work from Boise State University and have worked in a variety of settings including community mental health and private practice. My approach is relational, trauma-informed, and collaborative. I specialize in working with adults navigating anxiety, trauma, relationship challenges, burnout, and complex PTSD.

Many of my clients are high-functioning but feel overwhelmed internally—often carrying old survival strategies that no longer serve them. I often integrate EMDR, parts work (including Internal Family Systems), and somatic tools to help clients reconnect with themselves in deeper, more sustainable ways.

My approach to therapy

Therapy with me is a space where all parts of you are welcome. I believe in the power of curiosity, self-compassion, and nervous system attunement to support meaningful change. My goal is not just symptom relief, but helping you feel more whole, grounded, and connected.

My approach is trauma-informed, relational, and integrative. I draw from modalities like EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), somatic practices, and psychodynamic insight to help clients explore the roots of their struggles while building skills for the present. I work collaboratively and gently, always moving at your pace, and I view the therapeutic relationship as a key part of the healing process.

What you can expect from me

In our work together, you can expect to gain both practical tools and deeper insight. I typically begin by helping you build coping skills and learn ways to regulate your nervous system. This creates a sense of safety and stability, which is essential before exploring more vulnerable territory.

As therapy unfolds, we may begin to look at earlier life experiences, patterns, and protective strategies that developed in response to pain or trauma. My approach is gentle and collaborative—we move at your pace. Along the way, you’ll develop more self-awareness, compassion for the different parts of yourself, and a clearer sense of your needs and values.

Clients often tell me they walk away feeling more empowered, more connected to themselves, and better equipped to navigate life’s challenges with clarity and confidence.
