Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Rachel Crandall, LCSW. I’m a warm, caring, and genuine therapist who believes that sometimes what we need most is a safe place to slow down, feel heard, and be ourselves.

I’m a great listener and take a practical, compassionate approach to therapy. My goal is to help you feel comfortable and supported while working through whatever you’re facing. I’m open-minded, nonjudgmental, and believe therapy should feel like a partnership—not a place where you’re told what you “should” do.

I earned my BSW and MSW from Brigham Young University and have over 5 years of experience supporting individuals through a variety of life challenges. I’ll meet you where you are, listen with genuine care, and help you find practical ways to feel more grounded, confident, and at ease.

My approach to therapy

I specialize in supporting children, teens, and adults through anxiety, depression, trauma, crisis, and other life challenges. I use EMDR, CBT, TF-CBT, and trauma-informed care to help clients feel safe, empowered, and better equipped to cope, heal, and move forward.

I’m passionate about empowering survivors, recognizing each client’s strengths, and providing practical tools for meaningful change. I’m also a Christian counselor and can incorporate faith into therapy when desired. I’m fluent in Spanish and enjoy working with people of all ages and backgrounds.

What you can expect from me

My social work style is warm, genuine, and compassionate. I believe everyone deserves to have a safe space where they can be fully themselves, feel truly heard, and know that their experiences matter.

I meet clients with empathy, sincerity, and an open heart. I don’t believe in a “one-size-fits-all” approach to therapy. We’ll work together, at your pace, to understand what you’re going through and find practical ways to help you feel more grounded, empowered, and hopeful.

Most importantly, I want you to feel seen, heard, and validated. My goal is to walk alongside you—not judge you—and remind you of the strengths you already carry within you.
