Great to meet you!

If you’re looking for a sterile, academic therapy experience, you won't find it here.

Rooted in a family devoted to public service—including military, law enforcement, and state and local government employees—I learned early on what it means to carry heavy, unspoken weight. I’ve been working on the frontlines of the social work and human services field since 2009—including years spent investigating child welfare cases directly alongside law enforcement and county agencies. In 2022, I transitioned that hands-on experience into private practice to provide dedicated clinical therapy.

I built my practice because I wanted to offer something authentic. My approach is direct, honest, and entirely collaborative. We face challenges head-on using evidence-based science, but our sessions will always feel like a natural conversation focused on practical strategies for your actual life.

I create a warm, deeply understanding space where you don't have to pretend you have it all together. I have a particular passion and expertise in working with:

  • Public Service & High-Pressure Professionals: First responders, LEOs, military, and state and local government employees who need to train their nervous systems to safely switch gears, dial down the alertness off the clock, and navigate the difficult transition between the high-stakes frontline and home life.
  • Trauma Survivors: Individuals recovering from adverse experiences who want to safely disarm their survival responses, drop the weight, and finally catch their breath.
  • Overburdened Parents: Parents managing relentless daily demands, as well as those striving to navigate the complex world of peaceful co-parenting.
  • Teens & Adults Juggling the Modern Grind: Anyone navigating the exhausting expectations, stress, burnout, and complex life transitions that make it hard to feel like yourself.

My approach to therapy

I use a strength-based, solution-focused, and integrative treatment approach. I believe in being direct and working together to face challenges head-on, helping clients develop practical strategies for growth. I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all method; instead, I meet clients where they are to create a personalized plan that addresses their unique needs.

I am committed to creating a warm, supportive space where clients feel understood and empowered. I exclusively offer virtual sessions, which allow clients to participate from the comfort of their own homes or preferred environments. This format reduces transportation barriers and makes it easier to incorporate therapy into busy lives. Plus, it allows clients to bring along their favorite pet, comfort items, or anything else that helps them feel safe and relaxed during sessions.

What you can expect from me

My aim is to foster a warm, authentic, and open therapeutic relationship that encourages genuine growth and healing. Clients can expect to gain practical tools for effective coping and communication, as well as a deeper understanding of themselves and their relationships.

Ultimately, I want to empower individuals and families to navigate life’s complexities with confidence and resilience.

I also offer a free 15-minute consultation—because life can be busy, but you don’t have to face it alone. You deserve kindness, support, and a brighter, calmer future. Reach out today—I'm here to walk with you on this journey.
