Great to meet you!

Rachel Drotar (she/her) is a Licensed Independent Social Worker with a Master’s in Social Work from the Brown School at Washington University in St. Louis. She is currently pursuing AASECT certification in sex therapy and has received training from the Institute for Sex Education & Enlightenment (ISEE). Rachel provides trauma-informed, sex-positive, and gender-affirming care, as well as care to the LGBTQIA+ and consensual non-monogamy communities. Rachel is EMDR-trained and continues to explore the benefit of somatic tools to improve mental wellness.

My approach to therapy

Rachel believes in exploring joy and pleasure throughout the life course, drawing from radical acceptance, mindfulness practices, attachment theory, and the Enneagram. She values the exploration of sexuality and identity development within life transitions, in individual and collective trauma, and in holding space for spirituality and healing.

What you can expect from me

Client can expect a warm and welcoming atmosphere, as well as an open invitation to share about your story.
