Great to meet you!

I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over a decade of experience helping adults and couples work through some of life's most difficult moments, including anxiety, stress, relationship struggles, family conflict, communication breakdown, and the kind of heartbreak that makes you question everything.

I work best with people who feel stuck, overwhelmed, or like the same patterns keep showing up no matter how hard they try to change them. My clients often come in carrying a lot, sometimes for a long time, and they leave with tools, clarity, and a renewed sense of what's possible.

I also hold a faculty position at Yorkville University, where I teach in their graduate counseling program, which keeps me actively engaged with current research and brings that thinking into my clinical work.

If you've been waiting for the right moment to reach out, this might be it. I'd be glad to work with you.

My approach to therapy

My work is collaborative. I don't believe I know more about your life than you do, but I do believe I can help you see patterns you're too close to notice, and offer tools that move you from stuck to somewhere better. Sessions tend to be warm but purposeful. I want you to leave each session with something: a new frame, a concrete skill, or at least a clearer sense of where you're headed.

I'm an active presence in the room. I'll listen carefully, and I'll also ask the questions that help us go deeper. My goal is for every session to feel like meaningful progress, not just a place to vent.

I draw from Gottman research, CBT, SFBT, and Narrative Therapy, depending on what you need. What stays constant is that I take your goals seriously and I hold you capable of reaching them.

What you can expect from me

The first session is yours to fill. I'll ask about what brought you in and what you're hoping changes, but I'm not running you through a checklist. I want to hear your story in your own words, at your own pace.

By the end of our first meeting, we'll have a shared sense of where you are, what matters most to you, and what working together might look like. You'll leave feeling heard, and with a clearer direction for where we go next.
