Great to meet you!

What I want my clients to know about me is that I’m a real person who genuinely cares about helping them feel safe, seen, and supported. I don’t expect perfection, and I don’t judge where you’ve been—I’m more interested in where you want to go. I’m direct but compassionate, and I’ll always be honest with you, even when it’s hard. My style is collaborative, meaning we’ll work together at your pace, not mine. I believe in building a strong therapeutic relationship rooted in trust, respect, and authenticity. I also understand that healing—especially from trauma or addiction—is messy, layered, and deeply personal. My job isn’t to fix you; it’s to walk alongside you as you figure out what healing looks like for you.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is rooted in compassion, honesty, and meeting each person where they are. I use a trauma-informed, client-centered lens, meaning I take time to understand your story, your strengths, and your struggles—without judgment. I believe healing happens in a safe, consistent space where you feel supported but also gently challenged. I integrate evidence-based practices like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and elements of Psychodynamic work, depending on what fits your needs. I also believe therapy isn’t one-size-fits-all. Sometimes it’s about learning skills, other times it’s about sitting in grief, processing trauma, or untangling the beliefs that keep you stuck. Ultimately, my goal is to help you feel more in control of your emotions, relationships, and life—on your terms.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect to walk away from sessions with a better understanding of themselves, practical tools to manage emotions, and a sense of being truly heard. My goal is to help clients feel more grounded, empowered, and supported—not just in the session, but in their everyday life. Whether we’re working through trauma, addiction, anxiety, or relationship challenges, I focus on helping clients build insight, develop healthier coping strategies, and shift the patterns that no longer serve them. Sessions aren’t about judgment or quick fixes—they’re about doing the work together, step by step, in a space that feels safe, honest, and real. Over time, clients often report feeling more in control, more connected to themselves, and more hopeful about their future.
