Great to meet you!

Hello!

I am a LICSW and psychotherapist.

I believe that every human being possesses the power to change. I believe that every person has the ability to access hope, inner strength, positive relationships and peace through inner work with the help of a skilled therapist. This work can be difficult and challenging but can also be joyful and is ultimately rewarding.

I have done clinical social work for the last 8 years and have been independently licensed since 2022. I have done counseling in other capacities with individuals and families for most of the last 35 years. I currently work with individuals, couples and families. I very much look forward to working with you on your healing journey.

My approach to therapy

I use an eclectic, strength based approach, incorporating both cognitive behavioral tools and a psychodynamic lens where a trusting relationship between the client and therapist is paramount.

I encourage clients to use whatever works for them, whether it is writing prompts or accessing spiritual beliefs. I utilize mindfulness and creative tools to access healing with clients who are comfortable with this approach. I assist clients in both self growth and improving their relationships with others.

What you can expect from me

I provide a warm and welcoming safe place for clients to set achievable goals and outcomes and I assist clients with learning the steps and tools to reach their goals. I currently work primarily over Telehealth, though I am able to see some clients in person occasionally, in the Western Massachusetts area.
