Great to meet you!

I believe in autonomy. Therapy is what you want; you know yourself best. I hold space that is non-judgmental, objective, warm and sometimes challenging. The relationship we create is important. I help diverse populations including but not limited to:

1st /2nd generation immigrants, relationship/identity struggles (i.e. ENM/Poly), anxiety, depression, bi-polar disorder, trauma, self-esteem, LGBTQIA. I also have clients who deal with intergenerational transmission of trauma, neurodivergence, grief, or loved one's cancer.

My approach to therapy

I use an eclectic approach and a variety of techniques from different theories. Everyone is a unique individual with specific needs. I adjust my approach to the individual. My hope is that my clients come in and tell me about all of their life: the good, the bad, the weird and the messy. Whether you’re struggling with a diagnosed mental illness or simply need a listening ear so you can sort out your thoughts and feelings or vent, I provide a safe space to do so.

What you can expect from me

I think of therapy as a way to organize your internal world, how you map your life, and create language for your experiences. The more familiar you are with the mountains, valleys, rivers and trees, the better you know yourself. Perhaps one day you find yourself climbing uphill, but you aren’t lost. You recognize this mountain because you’ve mapped it. It might be painful, but at least you know this path and how to navigate it.
