Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm Dr. Rachel Keitelman, a licensed clinical psychologist who works with adults navigating relationship challenges, anxiety, life transitions, burnout, and the lasting impact of difficult life experiences. I believe therapy should be a place where you feel genuinely understood, not judged or rushed. Together, we'll work to better understand your experiences, strengthen your relationships, and help you create a life that feels more authentic and fulfilling. My goal is to provide a warm, thoughtful space where meaningful and lasting change can happen.

My approach to therapy

My work is rooted in psychodynamic and relational therapy. I believe many of our current struggles are shaped by earlier experiences and the ways we've learned to relate to ourselves and others. Rather than focusing only on symptom relief, I help clients develop a deeper understanding of the patterns that keep them feeling stuck so they can experience more satisfying relationships, greater self-compassion, and lasting change. Therapy is a collaborative process, and I aim to create a space where you feel genuinely understood while also being thoughtfully challenged to grow.

What you can expect from me

Starting therapy can feel intimidating, so my goal is to make our first session feel like a conversation rather than an interview. We'll spend time getting to know one another, exploring what's bringing you to therapy, and discussing what you hope to gain from our work together. I'll ask questions about your current concerns, relationships, and life experiences to begin understanding the bigger picture. By the end of the session, my hope is that you'll leave feeling heard, understood, and with a clearer sense of how we can work together moving forward.
